1. Product information to include in a screw RFQ
Start with the basic screw type and application. For drawing-based projects, the application is important because thread type, head style, drive type, finish and inspection requirements can change depending on whether the screw is used in electronics, smart hardware, sheet metal, enclosure assembly, decorative hardware or tool-free equipment.

2. Supported drawing and sample file formats
If a formal engineering drawing is available, attach it with the RFQ. If the project starts from an existing sample, send clear sample photos with measurements and note any critical areas that cannot change.

5. Tolerance and inspection information

Before quotation, include any inspection requirement such as dimensional inspection, appearance check, thread gauge check, material confirmation, coating review, packaging requirement or application-focused QC.
